It sounds like loading a gun with the universe, waving it around in a room for a while, and then shooting it into your brain. The all-European trio explores the dynamic and harmonic consequences of contemporary saturation of sound and image, bringing their music to its most simple and direct form. Sound objects consisting of odd rhythms, elements of live electronics and folk song material, create a colorful atmosphere within a tension-release dramma, that allows you to see the beauty of it all.

Celano-Baggiani Group is het resultaat van een samenwerking tussen twee uitstekende Argentijnse musici, Guillermo Celano; gitaar en Marcos Baggiani; drums/slagwerk. Het eigen geluid van de groep presenteert een smaakvolle, kruidige mix van lyrische melodieën, romantische harmonieën en opzwepende groeves gebaseerd op de traditionele tango en karakteristieke Argentijnse volksmuziekritmes gecombineerd met geïmproviseerde muziek en jazz. De groep speelt werk van hun nieuwe CD "Simple songs" wat uitgebracht wordt op het Argentijnse label MDRrecords wat eerder CD’s van musici als Pablo Zigler, Quique Cinesi & Manolo Juarez uitbracht. Het materiaal is ontstaan in samenwerking met Michael Moore, die een grote referentie aan de West Coast-muziek inbrengt. Het resultaat vormt een aantal prachtige, toegankelijke melodieën die als een frisse wind van Noord - naar Zuid-Amerika waaien. “Press reviews” over de eerste CD van de Celano Baggiani groep: “G. One takes two alto-saxophnes, a bassclarinet a clarinet a flute, a doublebass, four drums, four cymbals and bells, toys, original composition with its focus on light-footed grooves, plainsongs, easy melodies and lots of freedom for intuitiv improvisation, different musical, culinary and cultural backgrounds, and put it together in one pot to cook a unique cookbook sound.
