Minn Minn Lights is a young experimental trio with a very pronounced sound, sprouted
from the Norwegian improv scene. They like sound and textures, prepared objects and
instruments and homemade electronics.
Streifenjunko is an acoustic improvising duo with its own world of sounds on the Norwegian improv scene, clearly influenced by European contemporary composers like Giacinto Scelsi and others. They are preparing the release of their first album. However, a recent collaboration with reknown Japanese guitarist Tetuzi Akiyama already resulted in the release of "Varianter av døde traer" on the label Sofa. They've also collaborated with Sidsel Endresen and Christian Wallumrød, and in addition Streifenjunko has toured extensively in Asia, Europe and South Africa.
seemingly random successions of sheets, combined with vocals of basic nature. rather a way of exploring if one can be organic in this time and day, and a puzzle pieced together by a very stubborn and seemingly disfunctional child.
