Seiki is a duo that consists of Andreas Pichler (Austria) on drums and percussion and Louise Dam Eckardt Jensen (Denmark) on saxophone, clarinet and flute. Louise and Andreas have been playing together for the past few years in various constellations. Improvisation is at the heart of their music... that recalls a poem created on the spot in which subtle rhythms and fluent melody lines meld to reflect the original language they’ve developed over the past years: a chain of instant compositional ideas with the objective of exploring a large variety of acoustic sounds.
ohne 4 gespielt drei
Played numerous gigs in jazzclubs all over Germany. With 2 saxophones and one drumset, the 3 musicians play in an unusual instrumentation. Sven and Katrin write the music for this band,
and they work with electronic sounds additionally, to give some fresh colour to the music. You cannot assign the music to a special jazzstyle. The music just reflects the individual musical experiences and influences of Sven Katrin and Bernd.
