Over de muziek van Bite the Gnatze zou je op het eerste gehoor kunnen zeggen dat het een cross over is van jazz, geïmproviseerde muziek en folk. Maar bij nadere beluistering hoor je nog veel meer: blues, rock en invloeden uit de moderne klassieke muziek; dat de band piept en kraakt, zucht en steunt, doordendert, feestelijk kwettert en onderweg op de meest onverwachte klanken stuit.

What is the future sound of European jazz and improvised music?
Jazz Plays Europe is a new network for international collaboration and, next to TryTone, it includes organizations from Poland, France, Belgium and Germany.
And this network is the platform and the excuse to bring these musicians together, a band which is bound to explore and create across borders.
Zaal 100 will witness the premiere of this band, the first concert of a tour along five countries.
