LMSW7
Lucas Malec: tenor sax, clarinet / Sean Winters: trumpet, flugelhorn / Zach Koeber: tenor sax, electronics / Ari Hrodmarsson: trombone / Marcus Larjomaa: bass trombone / Adan Mizrahi: double bass / Booker Stardrum: drums
LMSW7 must be approached from different perspectives (like any other ambigram). The audience experiences the sound of this particular moment in the history of time, and the sound experiences the audience at this location in space.
The brass and wood-wind oriented formation explores the possibilities of each composition in an interpretive and improvised context. The intention is to show that aesthetics don't always need to be taken so seriously.
The Rotterdam based jazz-core trio Heinz Karlhausen & the Diatonics was formed in 2008. Featuring Goncalo Almeida on bass & electronics, Daniele Martini on tenor saxophone and effects, and propelled by Friso Van Wijck on drums, the band’s music is made of raw power with space for improvisation and an overall eclectic approach.
The sound of this trio draws its inspiration from free jazz, noise and hardcore sonorities.

Rover Quartet
Dirk Beets: trumpet / Paul Dijkman: guitar / Franc auf dem Brinke: drum / Andreas Metzler: double bass
This foursome plays originals only; a mix of groove and contemporary jazz, with a high level of improvisation and electric sound effects.
The music of the Rover Quartet is as diverse as its members: from reflective moods to intense and energetic outbursts or just plain joyful wandering.
