After 6 years apart the Gibsons are playing together again, Marcio is coming from Brazil to play this concert with his Amsterdams based brother Yedo, in a quartet with the ingladiable Mikael Zsafirowski the master of the guitar with pigeon feather and Wilbert de Joode a veritable research scientist of bass pizzicato and bowing techniques.

The Royal Improvisers Orchestra is an international free improvisation orchestra based in Amsterdam. It is one of the foremost representatives of the new generation of improvisers in the Netherlands.
The musicians work freely yet closely, communicating constantly with each other and with the audience.
RIO started with a technique based on Butch Morris "conduction". Over time the orchestra developed its own language and now has a unique voice and way of making music.
