I feel very fortunate to have found two kindred spirits who were willing
to join me in this group. Steven and I have been playing together for
a long time, in all kinds of projects. He never ceases to impress me with
his musicality and his ability to make a statement in any musical context
in which he chooses to play. Though Alan, who hails from Canada, has lived
n the Netherlands for three decades, I only met him two years ago and
am delighted to have done so. He is one of the most original musicians
I have worked with so far and a prolific composer, always full of ideas.
All three of us prefer to balance on the edge. With this group we have
taken a step forward - Going Down!
